ANNOUNCEMENTS:

November 13, 2006, final presentations will be held on
class on November 27 & 29. Please check the schedule HERE. Every
student will be given 20 minutes to present the most important contents of your
final project, plus a 10 minutes question period. There will be no more classes
after November 29, the final project will be due on December 5, 2006 at 5pm. Please bring
your CD to MC707 before the deadline and don’t send it through email.

Attention: just to remind all of you, if you miss too many
on-class presentations, your final marks will be affected.
·
October 30, 2006, according to the progress of past presentations, some
minor changes have been made to the schedule of the coming presentations,
please check HERE.

October 4, 2006, final project topics have been assigned. Click HERE to
see the results. So you can start to collect all the references and materials
to prepare for it. For more information, please check
the requirement for final project.
The presentation schedule and due date of the final project will be
posted later on.

October 2, 2006, the topics of final project are listed HERE.
Please choose 2 potential topics, ranking them according to your preference and
send them to Prof.
Shih & the TA by email before Oct.
25. We will assign the topics by a first come, first serve basis and the
results will be posted on this website afterwards.

Attention: All students should send their presentation files to Prof. Shih

by emails one day before their presentations. For those students who
already presented but have not sent out your files, you should send your files
as soon as possible.

September 21, 2006, Part II presentation
schedule: HERE. Since the contents in part
II are more sophisticated, each presentation time limit can be increased to
about 45 minutes, plus a 15 minutes question period.

September 18, 2006, Presentation schedule for part I has been rearranged: HERE. During
one lecture, there are usually 2 persons presenting with each presentation
about 30 minutes long, plus a 5 minutes question period.
